McDonald's is targeting fans of its classic Happy Meals with the introduction of its new Collector's Meal, launching on Tuesday.

Both promotions come as customers have been scaling back spending following a series of price increases.
The broader context: Fast-food chains, including Burger King, Taco Bell, and Starbucks, have been emphasizing value recently to lure customers back from preparing meals at home.

The new meal will be available throughout the day and offers a breakfast option as well as two choices for the rest of the day.
For breakfast, the meal includes a "Sausage McMuffin with Egg" sandwich, hash browns, and a hot coffee.
For later in the day, the options are either a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac, both served with fries and a soft drink.

Details: McDonald's is rolling out the global collector’s edition in the U.S. and 32 other countries, each featuring unique collectible cups.
The cup designs “celebrate iconic collectibles from their respective markets,” according to McDonald's. In the U.S., the cups are made from "tritan plastic," known for being BPA-free and shatter-resistant, although the material and designs vary internationally.
